Rough start to the race for me - after sprinting to get to the woods first, tossed it down in the first corner. Managed to pop back up and was in second for a fairly short time and then passed for the lead. Felt better once I got in a rhythm and turned a good second lap to get the win.

Passed several riders sprinting into the woods, then one more once I got in and held my position behind the second place guy. He was stronger in the climbs, I was faster in the down hill... but it wasn't good enough to pass.
