This was a great crit course. There were 6 turns and no hills (which is weird being on how its Bloomington and in the Hilly Hundred area). I went to this race completely alone and even had to ask a total stranger to pin on my number for me. However, when I got to the starting line I found some friendly faces! Even though there was only about 10 women over half the field was on team from Bloomington. After doing this race I was really greatful for going to Cindy Harts training camp and practicing my turns. Because she had taught me about turning and not breaking while I peddal though the turns. This helped me a lot and I was able to make up valueable time on the turns. This was a fast race but I stuck it out finishing 7th place while avoided a crash at the end of the race.
